Tutu & Kai was born from a simple, deeply personal question we faced as parents:
“What should really touch a newborn’s skin?”

Like every new parent, we searched endlessly for the softest, safest, and most breathable fabrics for our baby. What we found was disappointing — too many products looked beautiful but were filled with harsh finishes, synthetic blends, and shortcuts that didn’t belong anywhere near delicate skin.

So we decided to do something different.

We spent months sourcing and testing GOTS-certified organic muslin — a fabric that is AZO-free, naturally breathable, and crafted in a soft crinkled weave that allows air to flow while gently hugging a baby’s skin. This unique crinkled muslin texture creates our signature cloud-soft feel, becoming even softer with every wash.

That journey became the heart of Tutu & Kai.

Today, we create thoughtfully curated newborn essentials — from breathable muslin swaddles and gentle clothing to hand-crafted crochet toys and natural neem-wood teethers — each designed for daily use, long-term safety, and lasting comfort.
